2b. Health & Fitness Data
How we collect this: Automatically synced via your device's HealthKit or Health Connect integration, but ONLY if you explicitly grant permission.
- Steps, active energy, workout sessions (read + write)
- Sleep analysis, heart rate (read only)
HealthKit data is used ONLY to personalise your in-app experience. It is NEVER sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose outside the App.
2c. Wellness Logs & Interactions
How we collect this: Manually entered by you in the app, or submitted via chat messages to the AI Coach.
- Food, hydration, mood, sleep, and movement entries you manually log
- Fasting start/end times and protocols
- Progress photos you upload
- Chat messages, queries, and interactions with the Echo Detox AI Coach
3. How We Use Your Data
- Create and manage your account
- Power the AI Coach: Generate AI wellness plans, detox protocols, and nutrition guidance by securely transmitting your first name, health goals, daily logs, and chat messages to our third-party AI service.
- Personalise your experience based on your health intake and goals
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases
- Send push notifications (reminders, alerts) — with your permission
- Improve the App through aggregated, anonymised analytics

4. Third-Party Providers & Data Sharing
We share data only with trusted providers to operate the App. We confirm that any third party we share data with provides the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy:
- xAI (Grok API): Powers our AI Coach and Daily Plans. We share your first name, health goals, daily logs, and chat messages to generate responses. We require user permission before sharing this data.
- Firebase (Google): Auth, Analytics, Backend
- RevenueCat: Subscription management
- Apple & Google: OAuth, App Store services
- Render.com: Server hosting
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, delete, or correct your data at any time. You can disable notifications or HealthKit access via your device settings.
